Northern Lights Hunting in Lappish old cottage

Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Rovaniemi and take you on a Northern Lights adventure. We continuously monitor the Aurora forecast and weather conditions and may make stops along the way if the Northern Lights appear.

Our destination is a cosy cottage between two lakes, where we will light a warm fire and grill traditional Finnish sausages. Vegetarian options are available upon request. Hot drinks and snacks are also provided.

While waiting for the Aurora, your guide will share stories about Lapland and explain the science behind the Northern Lights. If the Aurora appears, you can enjoy the show right by the fire, and your guide may help you take photos.

The tour lasts approximately 2–2.5 hours, depending on weather and Aurora activity.

Please note:Clear skies are essential for seeing the Northern Lights, and weather conditions in Lapland can change quickly. From October to April, we recommend dressing in warm layers with thermal clothing, two pairs of socks, warm boots and gloves.
