Tour description

What’s the most effective means to chase the sometimes elusive Auroras? The answer is a car because it allows our guides to take you where the Northern Lights are most likely to appear. How do they know where to go? Our guides keep a close eye on Aurora forecasts, weather, and cloud conditions. Only when the conditions are optimal do we organize these rides. This tour not only provides you with a great chance of seeing the Auroras, but you'll also learn the best camera settings to capture stunning pictures and gain insights into this fascinating phenomenon of the Northern skies.

How do I get to the activity?

If you stay at Apukka Resort:
- Arrive at the meeting point 10 min. before the start of the activity.

If you need transportation:
- The price of the activity includes transfers to and from Apukka Resort with our shuttle bus.
- The bus stops are located at Rovaniemi city center and Santa Claus Village’s bus stop, situated by the main road (Road E75).
- Choose the pick-up point during the booking process.
- You will receive an email with the pick-up details.
- Please be at the bus stop at least 10 minutes before the given departure time.
- The transfer won’t wait, so punctuality is essential!
- If you’re late for the transfer, the tour won’t be refunded.

If you arrive by car:
- You can park your car in Apukka’s parking lot (Tutkijantie 28, Rovaniemi).
- Arrive at least 20 min before the activity starts.
- Pick up your winter gear from the Apukka Adventures dressing room.
- Wait at the meeting point until the tour begins.
